Abstract

ZnO polycrystalline nanomaterials are fabricated by the sol-gel method combined with multi-layer spin-coating and annealing. The fabricated material is a monocrystalline wurtzite hexagonal structure, homogeneous with spherical monocrystalline particles of size 20-30 nm. In this study, we have fabricated and tested ZnO samples under different conditions (annealing environment, annealing temperature, number of layers, annealing time). We examined structural morphology by X-ray diffraction (XRD), SEM, the optical properties were investigated by fluorescence spectroscopy. As a result, the best fabrication parameters proposed are annealed in Argon gas at 3 500 ° C for 12 hours. These fabricated samples reduce the area of fluorescence emission due to defects.
